Audio Visual and Hire

Audio Visual and Hire

We maintain a curated list of trusted suppliers who regularly collaborate with Mansion House. The Mansion House venue hire package includes a standard PA system accommodating up to four microphones, trestle or round tables, poseur tables, staging and chairs. Our security team and cloakroom staff are also included, as well as the use of our digital totem screens to display welcome content. Any supplementary equipment must be arranged independently by the client.

Regarding audiovisual requirements, clients have the flexibility to engage their own suppliers, provided they satisfy the venue’s Risk Assessment protocols and present valid public liability insurance documentation.

If you are speaking with a member of the Mansion House events team then please arrange a suitable time and date with them or if it is for a new enquiry then please do contact our generic email on mhvenue@cityoflondon.gov.uk. We will do our best to accommodate the dates you are looking for due to events taking place this might not always be possible.

Mansion House is available to hire throughout the day. Our hire periods are broken down by day hire, evening hire or full day hire. We do not offer hourly rates for our spaces. Please contact a member of the Mansion House events team who will be able to give you further information around the times and the costs associated.

Mansion House is only available for corporate and commercial hire. We are unable to be hire for events such as weddings, engagements or birthday parties.

We are not able to welcome any other caterers into Mansion House. We have a fabulous in-house caterer called Social Pantry who will be able to caterer to all the needs of your event and work with you to make your requirements a success. Please contact the Mansion House Events Team mhvenue@cityoflondon.gov.uk who will be able to introduce you to the catering team.

Mansion House offers a basic PA of 4 microphones which we advise is suitable for speeches only along with a sound technician within the venue hire cost. Anything additional such as screens or further PA and AV equipment will need to be brought into the venue. Our events team can provide recommendations based on your requirements.

Your event manager can provide you with Mansion House’s recommended suppliers. Clients are able to bring in their own trusted suppliers but they must provide the Mansion House with a venue specific RAMS and a public liability insurance certificate before being allowed on site along with a staff names.

Please make your event manager aware if you have invited a guest who has Met Police protection or a member of the Royal Family. These are the two categories of guests where Mansion House would need to look at increasing the level of security within the house. Any additional security staff costs due to these guests will need to be covered by the client and your event manager can give you more details.
